FAQs About Fencing in Nevada

Will you call the utility company before you start?

As required by the state of Nevada, a good fencing company will have "Call Before You Dig" mark where your underground utility lines are.

I have sprinklers.

Please mark your sprinkler heads and underground sprinkler lines before we start building your fence. Call us if you need assistance.

I have a swimming pool.

You may be required to put fencing around your pool. Check the permits and inspections section of your city's website for special requirements on your pool.

How deep do you bury your posts?

Typically, we bury our fence posts 2 to 3 feet deep. Every project varies and we adjust to ensure you have a secure fence.

How much space do you put in between posts?

We set wood posts 8 feet apart, aluminum posts 6 feet apart and chain link posts 10 feet apart. If the posts are set farther apart, sagging may occur. We understand every project varies and we will adjust accordingly.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We will come out to your property, examine the materials and specifications needed, and give you an estimate of the job in writing. Be sure to ask us how much time it will take to complete the job, what our backlog looks like, when we can start, cleanup cost, if we're removing the old fence, etc.

We've written up a contract. Now what?

Pay attention to the details of the contract, including the work needed, cost, payment schedule, start date and estimated completion date.
